Since forming Johnson Capital, Guy has been providing leadership and strategic planning for the company and all of its regional offices. Guy's previous posts include serving as vice president at Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company, where he was responsible for the origination, underwriting, and management of construction, permanent, and participating mortgages as well as joint ventures for numerous institutional investors. Guy also gained valuable experience with Union Bank’s commercial lending department and the national real estate accounting firm Kenneth Leventhal & Company (now Ernst & Young).
Guy has served on several advisory boards for major nationally known financial institutions and investment banks. He is a member of Mortgage Bankers Association of America (former vice chairman - capital market's committee and currently on the Commercial Board of Governors), California Mortgage Bankers Association (former chairman), International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, National Multi Housing Council (national board of directors and executive committee member), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (national director, past Southern California director, and former president), Real Estate Investment Advisory Council, and Pension Real Estate Association. He is also serving as a board member of the UCLA Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate. He has also been a member of the University of Southern California's Lusk School Board of Advisors, The Real Estate Roundtable (president's council) and Commercial Mortgage Securities Association. He holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from Loyola University.

Cliff B. Carnes, Chief Operating Officer cliffcarnes@johnsoncapital.com
Cliff joined Johnson Capital in March 2007 as the Senior Vice President for Operations. He was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in January 2008. In his current capacity he oversees and supports twenty domestic and foreign offices. The operations team provides support to the company, including: Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Public Relations, IT, vendor management and administration.
Prior to joining Johnson Capital, Cliff was an activated US Navy Reserve Officer. While active, Carnes served as the senior watch officer for 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company in Iraq and had a follow-on assignment for eighteen months as the Director of Public Affairs for the First Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton, California.
Before being activated, Cliff worked at an educational consulting firm as Vice President of Finance and Operations. Additionally he has previously worked in corporate finance in New York and Washington, D.C.
Cliff began his career at the US Baltic Business Council in Washington, D.C. Currently Cliff is a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy Reserve and is a qualified Naval Gunfire Liaison Officer and Public Affairs Officer. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in International Relations and received a MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He is an active board member of The Wounded Marine Career Foundation and the US Baltic Foundation.

Sue M. Pendergraft, Vice President of Operations spendergraft@johnsoncapital.com
A member of the Johnson Capital team since its inception, Sue is responsible for all administrative matters and general office management for the company. She began her career in mortgage banking nearly 22 years ago with Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company in the Income Property Division, where she was also in charge of office management.
Lora L. Finley, CPA, Chief Financial Officer lorafinley@johnsoncapital.com
Lora has more than 15 years of private and public accounting experience which includes a strong background in financial analysis, problem solving and project coordination. She is a Deloitte & Touche, LLP alumna and also worked for General Electric as a financial analyst. She is a past member of the board for the CSCPA, current chair of the CSCPA audit committee and current member of the leadership council for the American Diabetes Association-Denver office. Lora graduated from The Metropolitan State College of Denver with a B.S. in accounting.
