Kevin originates, negotiates, and structures traditional debt transactions secured by institutional quality income property. With an average annual production of over $100 million in the last five years, he has consistently been a top producer during his more than 13 years at the company. Kevin has shared his experiences by speaking at industry events such as the UCLA Real Estate Finance and Investment Conference, the Commercial Property News’ Annual Symposium, and the Crittenden’s yearly Meet The Lenders Conference. Prior to joining Johnson Capital, Kevin was with the Weyerhaeuser Company, where he handled the underwriting review of all permanent loan originations, packaging, securitization, and sale of loans in the secondary market. Kevin holds a B.A. in finance from California State University, Fresno.

Kamran originates and places real estate capital for office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the United States. He also participated in the acquisition, entitlement, and sale of development projects in the Salt Lake City area. Kamran graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor of science degree. He is a licensed California real estate broker and Utah real estate sales licensee. Kamran is affiliated with the CCIM Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Jay Boris, Executive Director of Johnson Capital Investment Banking, has over 13 years of experience in real estate investment banking and finance, and has structured and closed several hundred million dollars of transactions encompassing all major asset classes and types of real estate capital. Mr. Boris has significant expertise underwriting all types of commercial and residential real estate assets from entitlement through construction in major markets throughout the country. Prior to joining Johnson, Mr. Boris began his career at The Alison Company in Los Angeles where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, appraising and closing of loans for the company’s correspondent lending relationships. Mr. Boris is a licensed by the California Department of Real Estate, and received his B.A. in Political Economies of Industrial Societies from the University of California at Berkeley.

James performs financial and real estate analysis on all types of income properties and debt structures and advises clients seeking debt for acquisition, repositioning, and refinancing. James started his career as an auditor in Metropolitan Life’s mortgage division, then progressed into real estate acquisitions, entitlements, planning, construction, accounting and financing. He has extensive multifamily and office management experience and has been a licensed California real estate salesperson since 1988. James graduated from the University of Southern California with an M.B.A. in finance and the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a B.A. degree.
John Wong, Vice President - Loan Origination johnwong@johnsoncapital.comJohn joined Johnson Capital in July of 2006 with 16 years of experience in commercial brokerage, structured finance and commercial loan origination. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in its structured finance group. In addition, he specialized in tax-exempt housing finance for multifamily developers and apartment investors nationwide at Newman Associates. Most recently, he originated HUD loans at GMAC Commercial Mortgage. John originates HUD insured construction and permanent loans for multifamily, seniors housing and healthcare developments. He also originates conventional commercial loans. John holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA in finance from New York University.
Tina M. Rothstein, Vice President tmrothstein@johnsoncapital.comTina has over 20 years of experience in the financial analysis of commercial real estate. Prior to joining Johnson Capital, she was an in-house appraiser and reviewer with Sanwa Bank. Tina also served as an assistant vice president at Wells Fargo Realty Finance, a full-service mortgage banking firm, where she assisted in the solicitation and placement of debt and equity transactions with life insurance companies, pension funds, and a variety of other financial institutions. A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in economics, Tina is a California-licensed general real estate appraiser and salesperson.

Eric Salveson joined Johnson Capital as Senior Vice President with over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate. Eric will be advising commercial real estate owners, developers, and investors in the placement of both debt and equity financing including permanent, bridge, construction and mezzanine loans as well as equity/joint venture financing. Salveson started his career in 1971 with the Ralph C. Sutro Company. His last position was Director of Capital Markets for East West Bank in Pasadena. Prior to this position he was previously with American Property Financing (APF) running the Los Angeles office. He held similar management and production positions with AMI Inc., Mellon Financial, a division Mellon Bank, Metmore Financial, part of MetLife Insurance Company. Salveson received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.

Brent Lister originates, negotiates and underwrite both debt and equity transactions for Johnson Capital clients. Brent has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate development and financing. Lister began his financing career in 1987 with Metmore Financial, a subsidiary of Metropolitan Life Insurance. Most recently he was Executive Vice President and co-manager of the Western office of American Property Financing (APF). During Brent’s career, he has been instrumental in successfully funding over $2.5 billion of commercial and multi-family loans, joint-ventures and equity transactions. Prior to Metmore, Brent was responsible for financing, entitlements, and legal for a real estate development company that specialized in condominiums and planned unit developments. Brent received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management-Finance from Brigham Young University and is a licensed Real Estate Broker.
