John began his career with InterFirst Bank – Houston, N.A. and moved to Phoenix in 1985 to open and manage a regional mortgage banking office for The Robert C. Wilson Company. He is a former director and past president of the Arizona Commercial Mortgage Bankers Association. Memberships include Lambda Alpha International, an honorary land economics society, and the Thunderbirds, a volunteer civic group which sponsors the FBR Open Golf tournament on the PGA tour. John is a full member of the Urban Land Institute, having served on the commercial retail center "blue" council and also past co-chair of the membership committee of the Arizona district. He is a native of Houston, Texas and received a B.A. in finance from Texas A&M University in 1979.

Donald originates, underwrites and negotiates permanent debt, bridge debt, mezzanine debt and equity transactions for clients of Johnson Capital Partners of Arizona, L.L.C. He has over 25 years of experience in the fields of commercial real estate finance and investment. Prior to joining the firm in May 1999, Donald held senior lending positions with Heller Financial, GE Capital and Amresco Capital. He also spent six years as executive officer for a publicly traded commercial mortgage REIT. He holds a real estate broker’s license in the states of Arizona and California. A long-time resident of the Phoenix area, Donald is a graduate of Arizona State University’s College of Business. He is a member of ICSC and the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and serves on the Fiesta Bowl committee.

Neal has been active in commercial real estate lending for over 10 years and has extensive experience in underwriting and analyzing loans across all major commercial property types. Neal has originated permanent commercial loans for real estate investment and owner-user properties, as well as bridge loans for land acquisition, development and construction. Prior to joining Johnson Capital, Neal was a Director with Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation in their Phoenix office where he financed multifamily, office, industrial and retail properties. Neal earned the prestigious CCIM designation in 2003 and has been active on the Board of Directors for the Central Arizona CCIM Chapter and was elected and served as President in 2007. Neal was one of the few selected individuals to participate and graduate from the J W Levine Leadership Academy of the CCIM Institute. In addition to CCIM, Neal served 5 years on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Mortgage Bankers. Neal is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in finance and a minor in economics.
