Jason Pumpelly, Managing Director

Jason serves as Managing Director of the Dallas, Texas office. Prior to assuming responsibilities with Johnson Capital, Mr. Pumpelly arranged over $750 million in debt and structured finance on behalf of both private and public commercial real estate while at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF) in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining HFF, Jason served as a Director in the Dallas, Texas office of FINOVA Realty Capital, a subsidiary of The FINOVA Group, performing debt and equity originations for commercial real estate clients nationwide. Before FINOVA, Pumpelly performed real estate advisory services such as lease administration, site selection, office and industrial lease negotiations and build-to-suits for companies such as FedEx and Nortel while at Fischer & Company, a boutique corporate services/advisory firm in Dallas, Texas. Jason holds a BBA in Accounting and Economics from Texas Tech University and a MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas. He also served on the Board of Directors of The Real Estate Council and holds membership in the ICSC the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. He also holds a Texas Brokers License.

Ron Davis, Vice President-Originator

Ron serves as Vice President-Originator with Johnson Capital's Dallas office.  In this capacity, he is responsible for originating commercial loans with both conventional lenders and GSE, inclusive of HUD.  With more than 19 years experience in the real estate industry, Ron's diverse background includes appraisal, mortgage banking and development.  Prior to joining Johnson Capital, he served as Vice President of Finance for a Dallas-based international development firm with responsibilities that included securing financing for the company's projects.  Prior to development, Ron worked for one of the largest financial intermediaries in the nation, and was actively involved in the placement of debt and equity on all property types with an emphasis on hospitality.  Having worked on the placement of more than $1.5 billion of commercial loans in his career, Ron has a proven track record in commercial real estate finance.

Paul Mogote, Senior Vice President

Paul's role in the Johnson Capital's Dallas office is to originate HUD insured loans for multifamily, senior housing and healthcare developments. He also originates conventional commercial loans. He has 14 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and has been designated as a HUD MAP underwriter for both apartment and health care loans. He has processed and closed loans with HUD offices in Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Francisco, Portland, Denver, Oklahoma City, Houston, San Antonio and Fort Worth. Paul has originated loans for GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corporation and Prudential Huntoon Paige. He is a founding board member and secretary of the HUD Southwest Mortgagee Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Texas Real Estate Council, the Healthcare Financial Manager’s Association and the Texas Apartment Association.
